  1. we already compression tested. we did 2 or 3 cylinders (cant remember its been a long day) and compression never got above 40 pounds doesnt haynes or chilton make a manual?
  2. turns out my VR6 has either a smoked head or it pushed the gasket. where does everyone get their manuals from? im not familiar with VW's and a manual would help greatly. and would anyone like to pass on any tricks or tips on replacing the head/ head gasket?
  3. thanks for the help guys ill check the batt voltage and starter tonight. oh and its a 94 corrado with the VR6
  4. on my 94 the previous owner said the motor was seized. well after getting it home and turning the motor over with a breaker bar i've ruled that out. now that the battery is charged i tried to turn it over and all we hear is a click when i turn the key over. and when i turn the key over and the key goes back to on i cannot try to turn the motor over again. it locks and i have to turn it all the way off then on again. is this a common problem in the starting system? thanks in advance
  5. yeah the coolant take leaks. im going to get some POR-15 and give it a good coating
  6. hello everyone. i just picked this up as a trade for my streetbike (which i paid 250 for :D ) its a 94. its pretty clean. the owner said the motor was bad. we'll see soon
