so far so good, thanks for the help guys, only 1 thing left, i need an offside rear subframe bush, i cannot seem to locate any on ebay and etka has been down for some time now, if anyone knows where to get one/ has one it would be appreciated cheers :)

Cheers guys :) I think in the future I'll do the work myself, at least then it'll be done properly! I can't imagine what they do to other cars!

Does anyone know what size the abs sensor retaining bolt is, I know it's a 5mm Allen head but what is the thread and size? A local garage thought it would be a good idea to remove the abs sensors in order to stop the abs coming on periodically! MORONS! If anyone knows it would be immensely helpful Cheers

When I pull off in first, usually if the car has been parked it will get moving then make a slight scraping noise but will only last a few miliseconds then go, it doesn't happen in any other gear and the noise isn't on the biting point either? The car also attempts to pull away in 5th edges for about a metre then stalls, I was under the impression that in 5th the car should just stall? Cheers

Anyone running 9" rears with an offset of 60? Do I need 35 or 40 would 40 foul on the arch? Cheers

The clutch seems a little funny, just wondering what the "best" clutch would be if the worst case senerio would be to replace the whole thing? Cheers edit: sorry it's a 2.0 16v :)

My spoiler comes up really slowly and sometimes not at all, not even manually! However the sunroof does work? Any ideas of where to check first? Cheers

Even though they don't fit yet (I still need new adaptors, but just waiting to gather the funds) I just couldn't wait to see what it would look like so here goes, it looks a little high but then again the wheels arnt on properly, I just did it to tease my self! oh crap! thats what i thought, i may have to just let them soak in a bowl of soapy water over night then wash them off with plain water, they don't make things easy! cheers
