  1. Hi All!

After having my new pride & joy for just under a month, wanted to pick your brains on what to use on a set of TT comps? They are chrome n polished but with me washing them, they won't be Looking so nice. Iv got a tub of meguiars metal

Polish, can I use that or do I need something else/better?

  2. I bought mine for a bit more than this one last month and it had only 58k on the clock with full history!

So they can go for that much if you have the money n willing to have a great car with not much mileage!

Depends on how much you think they are worth I guess!

    Priceless!!! :)

  3. Hi all, Needed some help guys! Decided to refresh my number plates as they are water stained n too common!

I hav bought pressed plates from dubmeister, and some surrounds from edition 38!

Changing The rears were simple, taken off old, screwed surround in with new screws n washers to make it snug, and inserted the plate, whacked the strip on at the bottom of holder n looks great.

Now the problem is the front, the gap for the plate is too small for the surrounds. So I have to stick the plate straight on to the paint, which I'm a little hesitant as I might be changing the plates at shows and Iv got my eye on a private plate (2012 wishlist)

    Your advice n tips guys?

Can I use double sided velco strips or do ihave to use the double sided adhesive number plate pads from halfords? N rip the plate off when I do change it next year?!?!

  4. Had a bit of an alarming incident today (ABS inop, damp road, didn't spot a junction ahead, going too fast, powerslide all the way over. Luckily nothing coming! :help:) so after a quick change of underwear I'm going to sort the brakes out next! It's a VR6, I'm pretty sure the front disks are standard 280mm and the rears are the tiny normal ones. If I fit 288/312s to the front can I reuse my old calipers and disks on the rear, or do I have to do all four? I need a rear wheel bearing doing anyway so I might as well get it all sorted at the same time...

    Cheers,

    Stone

Scary stuff, I had a similar experience when bombing it dwn a country lane outside STEALTH in Southam!

    Brakes are whack!

Need to upgrade myself, I was looking at the 312 personally, or even better? Porsche brakes?
