  1. exhaust is fine :) took it down the motorway flat out and noticed when it goes flat, the boost guage drops massively!! isv valve it is, anyone got a spare??
  2. cant find an electrical connector anywhere!! im thinking maybe it was cut out of the loom, spliced together then taped up or something! out with the dash bulb it is then!!!
  3. basically my car has sold, but driving it home last night, in 4th and 5th gear while nailing it, it went completely flat!!! as soon as i let off the throttle, then floored it again it was ok?? kept doing this i noticed when it goes flat, sounds really quiet at the exhuast?? could this be caused by a collapsed exhaust box? i also noticed marks out of the breather filter on the idle control valve, could it be blowing boost back through that?? please help, its going at weekend!
  4. sorry. water temp, pressure and level is all spot on
  5. i have a different expansion tank with no sensor. im not overly sure where the sensor is to be honest? has been fine for the last 2 years as it is
  6. For some reason, the red coolant light on my dash has started flashing and im a bit stuck?? which sensor on the engine would controll this? for some reason, it came on after i fitted a new ecu chip, could this be related?
  7. had my charger rebuilt by jabba. £310 and had it back on my engine within 10 days!! excellent service anyway, to the chase, just finished running in my charger and im now getting healthy readings of 14-15 psi full throttle  solved my boost problem, but digi-lag is at its element now still running standard chip. one on order though
  8. yep! sorry, should of posted it in this section first. its a group a couple of us started on facebook for anything and everything G powered. if anyones interested, join up! post some pics and introduce yourselves. we need numbers for the rolling road day, so anyones welcome
  9. TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE G FORCE FACEBOOK GROUP we are organising a rolling road day at jabbasport for early april, on a saturday. £35 per vehicle for 3 runs and bbq etc! only thing is that their rollers dont take stupidly low cars. need numbers people, get involved!!!! steve
  10. the arz geartowers are pricey! any cheaper alternatives :)
  11. lol! i dont get that problem cause my 'G' is in a caddy van!! no one wants to go the rails against a van with a huge postman pat softtoy in the passenger seat  love my sleeper :) suprised an impreza the other day
  12. will tend to that. but im still warey of the actual plug/socket being loose? i have a spare dizzy at work, so might play around tommorrow and compare it with the one on my engine. cheers fellas
  13. i dont take it beyond 3.5k on cold. i mean its responsive and neck jerking upto that even without flooring it. dont do it too often as its still running cold start at that stage and makes me sobb watching the fuel guage creep. still never red-lined my 'G' dont worry nimjed, my 'G' is in safe hands....take care of it more than my preggers wife :)
  14. king lead was ok. the electrical connector on the dizzy is actually quite loose in the housing!? might rip it to bits and see if connections have gone brittle and shite internally
  15. Gave my car a little blatt after work and when i parked up, it just turned itself off. then it would crank over but not fire!?? scanned for any obvious problems in the bay, nothing. thought it may have been my coil as it wasnt sparking, but i gave the electrical connector on the dizzy a wiggle and it fired back into life! was this just coincidence, or are the dizzys a common problem??
