  1. Hey Lilfuzzer. Hope you're good. Do you have the left directional vent of the fan blower in the centre of the car. Picture here: How about a good condition steering wheel or a working drivers side seat motor for the back rest. Long shot I know!
  2. I mounted it there. Seems to be working fine. Fan doesn’t come on every time I turn the ignition off now. Only when hot. Fixed all the vacuum hoses and the car seems to be running a lot smoother now. Rear discs and MOT in a couple of weeks and I’ll be back on the road (fingers crossed). Thanks for the help all.
  3. Is this it? Seems far too easy...

    Vacuum Hoses

Not sure which the blue temp sensor is? I'm actually looking for this temp sender: 191919521D. I have the wire but can't see where to connect it. Got all the vacuum hoses sorted. Turns out I didn't actually need the clear hose, it was only the black 3.5mm that was knackered.

Thanks for the advice all. The amazon tube arrived and it’s bit flimsy so going to get this as well. Autobahn88 High Performance Silicone Vacuum Hose, ID 0.08" (2mm), OD 0.24" (6mm), 15 Feet per reel (4.5 Meter), Blue https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01CTXVJCI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_MXe8Cb7DPJFFA Can’t remember what the exact emissions fail was but will check. Thanks.

    Vacuum Hoses

I should add that the reason I didn't go for some of the hoses that are made specifically for cars is that they don't seem to match the spec. From research I think the spec of the hose is 4mm outer diameter, 2mm inner diameter and an outer wall thickness of 1mm. All of the automotive hoses had outer walls thicker than 1mm so I'm not sure if they'd fit together.

    Vacuum Hoses

Hi all. Aiming to get the Corrado back on the road (again). Failed the MOT on rear discs and emissions. Discs are easy to sort but emissions are a little more tricky. It's been standing for ages so need to give it a good run. But I've also noticed the vacuum hoses around the airbox are broken and need replacing which I think effects the emissions? I've managed to source the connectors and 3.5mm braided hose but struggling to find the other tubing - N0201391. You can still buy it from the stealers but you've got to buy 5m and it costs £38. I only need about a meter. I've seen some on ebay but the delivery will take too long. I need it for this weekend. I've ordered this on Amazon, do you think it would be a suitable replacement? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B012T3HAG2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Seems to match the spec of the original 4mm OD 2mm ID https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-volkswagen-audi-parts/vacuum-hose-white-3-feet/n0201391/
  8. Thanks Wullie. Will see if I can find the brass nut!
  9. Took the Corrado for an MOT after it had been standing for almost a year while I sorted the heater matrix and a few other bits. Needs new rear discs and the emissions are too high so not a bad result. I've been having an issue where the radiator fan would come on whenever the ignition is turned off not matter the temperature of the engine or if the engine had even been on. While the fan was doing this I moved the airbox and it turned off. On further investigation I found a connector under the airbox that looks like it had broken off from somewhere and when it shorts the radiator run on comes on. Couldn't for the life of me work out where this connects to. Any ideas? Here's a picture: While digging around in this area I also noticed a few hoses have been cut/worn through. I think they are vacuum hoses. From a search it could be where the carbon canister has been disconnected but I'm not even sure what that is. One thing I have noticed is that after revving the engine it takes ages to get back to idle - could this be linked? Any ideas what needs to be connected to what? One on the airbox T shaped connector behind the airbox Should these two be connected? Thanks in advance!
  10. Want to say thanks to VEEDUBBED for sending some tumblers all the way from Italy. Should also thank everyone else who's sent me parts - including lilfuzzer.
  11. Brilliant thanks. I'm not actually sure how many I need. That should be enough to do one side at least. I'll send you a PM
  12. That would be awesome VEEDUBBED. Thanks very much. Cheers for the offer MZpog - if I can get hold of the bits I'd like to give it a go myself!
  13. Hey Thursdave and VEEDUBBED, Bit cheeky but any chance you have more of the tumblers left over you could send me? Obviously will pay for them and postage if you do. Thanks, T
  14. Ok cool. Let me know how much you want for them. Thanks very much!
  15. Awesome! I'm based in London. Happy to come and collect in person, that's probably easier. There are also some other tailgate related bits I'd like. Is the spoiler available? Really just need the spoiler itself, not the mechanism. And how about the rear number plate holder? What sort of condition is the tailgate in? Looks good from the photo.
