  2. Hi everyone I'm looking for a complete shell in any condition preferably beyond repair. I am planning to carry out a rwd conversion on my own corrado but would like to mock everything up on an old shell first so I do not ruin my good one. Preferably after a shell that is beond repair for the road so I don't feel so guilty about cutting it up haha.


  3. Hi sorry to bother you all for such a small part but I'm showing my Corrado at a local show on Sunday and I am missing the small square trim on the passanger roof strip. I know it's short notice but if anyone has something available I will pay a reasonable price plus extra for fast postage. Thanks , Dave


  4. Hey im not on here very often but i thought i would come on and congratulate n3p on his beautiful storm. My corrado was the red 16v on schmidts. really lovely car mate and the cupholders are genius haha!

     

    Oh and swiftkid was it you i was talking to about your r32 conversion by any chance?


  5. Hi i am looking for an instrument cluster for my 91 corrado 16v with digital mileage display. To cut a very long story short i am now in need of a set of clocks asap which will be needed for my mot so i can take the car to gti international next weekend.

     

    Anyone got a set for sale and does anyone know if vr6 clocks will work in my 16v?(even if i have to change the tacho dial over)

    Are there different multi pin plugs that i need to look out for?

     

    Any help would be much appreciated as this is an unforeseen problem that may stop me from going to inters. :(

  7. Hi how much are the red recaros if you still have them?

    I'm also looking for outside window surrounds/seals for both doors,

    1 pair of mint indicators

    the small metal clips that hold the dizzy cap to the dizzy.

  8. hi, i dont know if this will help but i had the opposite problem with my car. i cound not get the switched +ve to come on. The switched supply for the head unit is controlled with a little button in the centre of the ignition switch and is pushed by the end of the key. my key was not pushing in far enough to press this little button. is it possible that yours is jammed?


  9. thanks for the replys all! Yes i did see those ones on ebay thanks and i am considering them but my original plan is to have them trimmed in tan leather(not oe cream) so id rather but a set thats a bit tatty than paying for a mint set.

    Hi clumpy yeah it would be good to see you about some time. I have been rebuilding my car for tha past 2 years so i dont think youll have seen me around. Hopefully just a matter of weeks now tho!


  10. Thanks for all the replys. Sorry, i should have mentioned, pcd adapters are not really an option for me as i've got 9j schmidts and cant afford to space the wheels out at all. Daves16v Thanks for getting in touch i was looking at your thread earlier and found it very useful but can you just clarify a couple of things for me please?

     

    4 to 5 stud with 256mm disks - vr6 hubs, cv joints and drilled disks required

    4 to 5 stud with 280mm disks(93 passat)- vr6 hubs (machined), cv joints, 93 passat disks and 280mm calipers and carriers

    4 to 5 stud with 280mm disks(vr6)- vr6 hubs,cv joints and disks with machined 280mm carriers and 280mm calipers

     

    This is how i understand it to be. Is this correct or am i going wrong somewhere? Thanks!


  11. Hi, I've been looking into converting my 16v to 5 stud so i can fit my 5*100 wheels. I know this has been covered alot but could someone please just put my mind to rest about a couple of things.

     

    If i want to run standard 16v disks and brakes do i just need vr6 hubs and drill my disks to 5 stud?

    or do i also need vr6 cv joints? If so, what is the reason for this?
