  1. I tried gsf, the part number wouldn't reconize and couldnt find it listed on the website. The company lemforder who make an aftermarket one has gone obsolete.
  2. Hi im after the oil cooler hose which goes from the water pump and the head into the cooler on a KR engine, the part number is 027121053B but I can only find them in USA and its obsolete from VW. Mine is just bulged but want to replace it. So if anyone is breaking a KR engine, would be much appreciated
  3. Ive got a 1990 KR Corrado and Its had the matrix hose modification where the valve has been put in, but the small hose with an upwards bend on it has split. VW dont list or make this hose anymore. Any ideas what I could use instead? Or shall I just get a hose made up? Ive tried taping it up and some k-seal but its managing to leak out still, so instead of keep having to top it up, ive gotta replace it. Any ideas and help would be much appreciated.
  4. Ah ha! That's what's the problem then. I'll have to wait till Monday then and swap it at work. Thanks very much.
  5. Yeah I'm using a 10mm socket. The smallest one.
  6. I don't know if I'm being a little thick here but I can't get the socket down the cylinder to remove the spark plug. The socket looks the same size as the ht lead nut will only go in a tiny bit, I don't want to force it then get it stuck. What am I doing wrong? It's a kr engine by the way. Thanks pepz.
