  1. Hi mate, I'm interested in the door pods. Would they fit a 95 C? Are they for electric windows? Thanks Kenyon
  2. Cheers mate, The more i learn the more i need to learn but this forum is a god send. Very helpful peeps on here! Some day i might be able to reach out and advise a newbie.
  3. Hi mate Thanks for your advice, this is exactly the type of knowledge i've been craving. Loving this forum as i'm very uneducated in this line of interest. I'm not exactly loaded but i'm well aware that you get what you pay for so i'm prepared to pay for quality (Within reason) In reference to what you said about the wheels. I really love the MK5 wheels however i don't want to sacrifice ride quality. If i got them in 17's would this solve the problem? A meet you say? Is it a meet for Corrado owners?? That would be amazing. Even if its not i'd love to come along sometime and hook up with fellow Corrado enthusiasts. Unfortunately i can't make the 2nd Feb. When would the next one likely to be? Jealous that you have 2 Corrado's! You must be very proud. Where bouts in Bristol u based? I work in the city center i'll be keepin my eye's peeled lookin out for them. Cheers Kenyon Shit the bed... I just checked out the KW V1's. Price is very meaty. Something around the Weitec £400-£500 would suit my budget. Whats your opinion on them?

  5. Hi mate I'm in portishead. Nice to know there a few locals in the area. Where abouts are you? Ideally i'd like to get the car lowered without damaging the ride quality too much. I've been told i need to look into more than just lowering springs ie lowering brushes (What ever they are). I also want to get a nice set of rims, again i'm told i need to chose rims a bit more wisely. Would also like the Angel Eye headlight conversion which i'm told is a bit tricky. I've bought a JL audio sub which i would like to install nicely into the car. Would love a nice custom fit so it looks tidy. Any recommendations you can make would be greatly appreciated.
  6. Yeah will have to get some pics on here. Cheers mate i'll def check them out I'm actually just outside of bristol. Portishead
  7. P.s these are the wheels i've got in mind: http://www.4wheel.it/vw/281.jpg
  8. Hi all I've just got my first corrado and have fallen deeply in love with it. : My question is thus: I know of too many garages who i consider bodge job butchers. Does anyone know of any "Corrado specialists" who can treat my car with TLC and give me accurate, sound advice? Any feedback greatly appreciated. Kenyon
  9. Bling bling money is a thing!! I'm feeling the strain on the purse strings already. Hopefully it won't be too bad... Hopefully.
  10. Haha, as i've only started driving my money seems to be draining rapidly! Hopefully once i've finished doin my mods it won't cost me too much. She's worth every penny tho!
  11. Thanks for the reply mate. Cupid drew back his bow from the very first moment i seen her but i'm very much a beginner in this love story! Cheers for the advice tho mate. I've checked on ebay for them but they seem pretty hard to find.
  12. Hi all I'm very new to the world of Corrado's and for that matter driving. I know little or nothing about the technical side of things. I recently bout my first car, 2.0 8v N reg Corrado and i'm head over heels in love. I know i'll probably be looked down upon for my choice of the slower model but its all down to high insurance. I really want to lower the car and get a set of nice golf gti mk 5 rims but if i'm right i need to be careful in what i choose. What springs should i get?? How much can i lower without spoiling the drive? And what do i need to take into consideration before buying rims? Any help would be greatly appreciatied as i'm feeling a little lost at the moment due to conflicting information i've researched. Thanks Kenyon
  13. After finally passing my test at the wrong side of my 20's i made the decision to become the very proud owner of a black Corrado 2.0 8v with only 70k on the clock. The slow version i know but insurance was a killer on this badboy never mind on other models! I've had it a few months now and spent a few quid installing Infinity Kappa range from front to back in all the standard sizes required to fit with little fuss (Rear shelves needing cutting in order to house the 6x4 but not visable unless you look underneath it) Also installed Alpine Headunit & KTP-Powerpack. The powerpack is a great option for those who want a better sound but have little or no skill in installation. The sound is very nice, clear and music sounds like an ocean of detail. My only criticism is that its lacking bass, to counteract this i bought JL Audio 10W6 sub which i have yet to fit but i'm made to believe sounds amazing. I've also just replaced the indicators & rear lights as i personally don't like the orange on the lights that come as standard. Next i would like to get the "Angel Eye" headlights. Installation was easy on the rear but from the little research i've done i'm led to believe that fitting the angel eye's are alot more complex. Does anyone have any advice from experience in fitting these?
