Went uo today and had a good look it turned out to be the metering head jobbie the flap was stuck open so it was over fueling so i sorted that out and put new plugs dizzy cap and rotor on as well as it was looking a bit old so thanks for all your help

My 2.0 16v corrado has just cut out and won't start up again just turns over it stinks of fuel Im going to investigate to it tomorrow when its light any help would be appreciated

Been busy then ill have to look out for it :-) yeah they've been around a couple of years now they have a show once a year ay heaves hotel and a meet once a month in milnthorpe. There on Facebook and there is a fourm but it does get used very much

thanks for the comments guys if any of you are on instagram on your phones i upload alto of pictures on there my username is @polosean plans are th-mono wheels in January theres a few other ideas i have for body work important going to try and make a custom spoiler by bonding a bora st spoiler to give it a bit of a flick and i like the motorsport look so it think that's what the inside will get and i might have a full vr corrado to swap engine and drive train over yeah the early stuff is easy to get in to :-( yeah they are the fantic is bait special some body owned it but i can't remember who it was the Ty is a 250 we did have a 175 but sold it there to mono shock 250s in there and some arials there's about 16 bikes in the garage work on the bumper the blue is actually another bit of bumper think twas an astra bumper then twas bonded in with so bloody good bonder haha yeah it was fearly easy tbh only problem we had was poop thermostat i got so got a genuine 1 and it was fine :-) ---------- Post added at 6:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 5:21 PM ---------- couple of pictures I've taken over last couple of days

alright Neil yeah it does was ment to be going back in in January to get the bonet done but he's got a lot on so ill have to wait a bit longer haha i wish i might have a full vr corridor lined up to do the full swap :-) yeah i was thinking about doing that they make alto of difference then?

yeah got to love alpine white yeah its the light smoke one but there really poor at night :-(

cheers man yeah the plan is to get some th-mono in the new year ive been between jobs recently but im all sorted now :) i did a little bit most of it is my dads welding but i learnt at college and to be honest its not as hard as you think its just setting the welder up but one you get the hang of it its easy.

yeah i did spray them but it never worked very well :( im going to give it another go

Took the car to its first show with a few others from cumbria vag which was nwvw at tatton park on the way home i got an awesome mpg as well i dont know how much to believe the mfa but what the hell after tatton park not a reet lot happend apart from giving the wheels a quick spary in ford anthracite just before edition 38 show after edition 38 my dads boss was on holiday so i could get it in to the body shop to get the bumpers smoothed and last picture is the latest picture i have of the car thanks for looking sorry about the amount of pictures all comments welcome sean

in the middle of summer my dads boss went on holiday so i could get the car in to be painted

while the engine was out i gave the bay a little clean bought myself a little somthing nice for the rebuild of the engine :) now i had the manifold it was time to get the engine back together with the added help with some kr cams now the engine is in it and running it was time to get the car polished as it was all flat from the time it has been sat in the sun. Once that was done i could enjoy the car and get some pictures.

Hello everybody my name is Sean from kendal, im fearly new to this fourm. So what i will do is show you few pics of where my vw adventure started So my first car was a 1.3 mk3 polo it was a little tatty but after a respray and lowering it looked like new after that i put some wheels on and left it as really with being a student i didt have a lot of money :( So after driving the polo for 3 years it got stolen from out side my girlfriends house in manchester (still not been found 9 months on) on to the corrado basicly i found it in a field where it had been sat for the best part of a year poor thing the owner let it over heat while it was sat running and neverdid any thing with it, i went to look at it and all i looked at was to see if the electrics worked which they did (result) so i handed over the grand sum of £250 and took it home. So first job was to strip the engine down to see how much damage was caused when it over heated

cheers man :-) yeah basicly i just made abit to fit in the whole and bonded it in and skimmed with filler :-) i don't think i have any pictures of the bonnet but all i did was cut a square out just a bit bigger than the ones left in the bonnet then weld the square from the top grind flat and skim with a little bit of filler then seam sealer the inside :-) and yeah im just using standard mk4 golf washer jets but inner to make better brackets for them.

yeah no worrys fella so that's the bit of bumper cut out next is to bond it in then it was sanded down and given a skim of filler then its basicly the same for the back bumper then all painted up if you have any other questions id be happy to help

i got the car with the wheels on and just running them for winter as for the bumper i got another bumper and cut a section out to fit in the recess bonded that in and then gave it a skim of filler over that i have some pictures of the process if your interested in seeing it. the number plate being where it is im not sure but the police haven't said any thing. and yeah ill get a picture of the rear today

i got rid of the washer jets and arial only small things but makes a lot of difference to the look of the car and a smooth front bumper

Both windows work but they only work 1 at a time any help would be nice also it has a standard central locking and when i lock it with the windows open it closes the passenger side window a tiny bit and it doesnt do any thing with the drivers side window cheers sean

Hi everybody im new on here basicly my corrado is really crap to get going in a morning takes a few times turning it over for it to run also when its cold it wont rev at all which in turn makes it eventfull when trying to pull out of my street ? cheers
