  1. Ordered last thursday from classicvw and received it today still no sign of the part from vwheritage ill see how long it takes to come from them.
  2. Ive got one of those 42 draft products on my 92 VR6 its not the best fitments just a bit tight on most of the silicone hoses but it does look good.
  3. Ordered another one straight from classicvw been quoted tuesday next week for delivery lets hope it comes then. N 010 222 8 Short bolt M6x22 N 010 366 4 Long bolt M6x55 Thats the part numbers for the bolts still available from vw but you could just buy some m6 threaded bolts and cut them to size.
  4. Its not looking good for me mate ive been quoted a further 2 weeks on top of the 3 weeks ive already waited, going to ring them up tomorrow again and see what the script is as i rang today but its just been one of those days for me and as soon as i heard 2 weeks i just hung up lol. Not fancy selling me that one you got lol have you been using the car at all then if you ordered it on the 10th?
  5. Looking at the classic car website i dont see any option for english in the top right corner? Did you manage to order one vwvw? ---------- Post added at 03:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:08 PM ---------- Got it had to switch web browsers. Hopefully i can get my hands on 1 shortly as ive been quoted another 2 weeks from heritage when i was told last week the part was in stock and would be sent out that week to me......
  6. No i got it from Bonnybridge mate but im not sure where the boy before me had bought it from.
  7. Thanks for the replies and the information about the rear arb is noted. Wiring was done by my mate but its pretty straight forward bud being obd1, you dont have to worry about any immobiliser issues. Just register on mk2vr6.com they have some great guides on doing the conversion. If i were you id do the chains while the engine is out as its so much easier! Im hoping to get the car MOT'd in the next week if my top radiator flange arrives! I did drive it the other night but still needs a few tweeks.
  8. haha not what i wanted to hear! Well hopefully it wont take that long to come as its one of the last remaining pieces i need to finish my conversion lol
  9. Interior is recaros mate it was my mate that had the car before me put them in Only pic i have of interior just now bud
  10. Well i know its not a Corrado but it is a VR6 hope nobody minds me putting this up Found a mk3 OBD1 with 139k on the clock for a good price but it did need some tidying up Bought a mk2 golf off my mate a few months back with the intention of dropping a vr6 into it. After around 2 months ownership i started the conversion with 2 mates. Got alot done the first weekend engine came out and sub frame etc. My mate cleaned up the bay for me but i dont have any pictures of it unfortunately I decided to go hydraulic clutch as finding a cable conversion kit was proving to be a nightmare and there was plenty of hydro set ups available. My mate did all the chains on this car as i dont trust myself with the timing side of things. I wasnt going to bother with the head gasket but after trying to get piston 1 to tdc and snapping a bit of copper rod in the cylinder :bonk: i decided it was best just to do it for piece of mind. Had the valve stem oil seals replaced, valves relapped and head skimmed. Got a victor reinz head gasket set including head bolts for a decent price. ---------- Post added at 03:09 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:05 PM ---------- How it stands today Not quite finished yet still looking for a few bits but hoping to get it road worthy in the next 2 weeks None of this would have been possible without the help of my 2 mates so alot of credit goes to them but i reckon we all pitched in the same.
  11. Just ordered one there mate but i was looking to get one soon, as its a 2 week wait and i kind of need one for the weekend. Cheers for the reply anyways bud
