1. Thanks, theres one just popped up on ebay. Local to me, red, looks nice. I've never driven a 16v or VR6 model corrado. Although there is something about the g60 which gets me excited. For being totally different, and personally i think it will be one of the more sort after corrado's to have in the future.
2. Finished of installing the intercooler spray kit today. Here's some more pics - 1st showing wiring almost finished then 2nd showing switch install. I used a none return valve after the pump to stop the nozzles emptying the tank. But it still draws the water out for some reason. I'll eventually have it wired into a pressure sensor so that it gets switched on at a certain boost. Havent really had time to test whilst driving, to many police about.
3. Thanks for the comments guys. The charger was rebuilt stage 4 by jabba (not sure if its early, middle or late, anyone have some part number to i.d. it?) when i first had her. Since then i've done a standard rebuild, running a maxrpm.de chip and 68mm pulley and wider belt. I also have a 4 branch manifold ready to go on at some point. She really pulls well, i'm still getting used of the extra power. As the difference to that of a standard car is massive. All i can say is that she drives like KIT from Night Rider lol. I'll be finishing the intercooler water spray kit over the weekend.
4. Thanks mate, some wise words there!!
5. Heres some pics of the intercooler water spray kit i'm installing. Jets mounted in air intake to intercooler. Motor mounted. I need to get a one way valve, so the jets dont empty the washer tank and mount a switch inside the car. I also have a air temp gauge digi display and probe to install.
6. Looking really good, lots of hard work gone in there. Be nice to see the end result!
7. Looks like this is turning into a blog, as nobody seems to be bothered to comment, or show any interest.
8. Had some new toys in today. I dropped the bonnet off down the painters to. Intercooler water spray kit and IAT sensor probe and display also on its way.
9. Wanted grey cloth corrado g60 drivers seat without any rips. Thanks
10. Done a bit more on her today, pas was a bit stiff at times so i changed the pas fluid and new anti freeze. Fitted new ecu to throttle body vacum pipe and set up the emissions again as the original vacum pipe was about 6cm to short. One or two pics of the under neath. PAS fluid being drained. Anti freeze being drained. New ecu to throttle body vacum pipe.
11. Picked up my new bonnet today, paint shop for her!
12. Picking up my new bonnet tomorrow, boost gauge, oil pressure gauge, handbrake gaiter are on its way. Still playing with the idea of fitting an oil cooler kit or fitting a new standard oil cooler/sandwich plate??? Any thoughts?
13. So i decided to have a look at my dodgy heater fan today (missing speed 3 and slow running fan). Ordered a new thermal fuse for the resistor, which came today. First one shows motor with over heated supply and negative lines. Resistor out with new thermal fuse. Thermal fuse crimped in place. Thermal fuse soldered in place. All i need to do is repair the supply and negative lines, reinstal and test. All tested now, working on all 4 speeds and blows good!
14. Picking up a new bonnet this week same colour and paint code, original has lacquer peeling on the front edge. Plus some new trim inserts for the roof rails coming to.
15. Thanks mate, she's pretty original just needs a bit of tlc
16.
17. if you have access to an old crypton tuner, you can do a proper job with ignition advance. Set basic timing first then adjust the ignition advance on the timing gun gauge.
18. Here's some of the latest pics i have of my corrado, tax'd, tested and on the road. Finally sorted my fueling problem, broken vacum pipes at the back of the throttle body. And she bloody flies!! :)
19. I tried all settings on the Co pot, got the emissions down to 2% but still have a flat spot when you put your foot down???
20. Thanks guys i'll keep you posted on my results
21. Thanks i'll have another play with it tomorrow.
22. Hi guys i need some advice on what is the best resistance reading on the Co pot when using a 68mm pulley and upgraded chip. I'm still having trouble in getting a low Co reading on my G60. I'm using a chip from MaxRPM.de and 68mm pulley.
23. No sorry it wasnt me at Boddelwydden castle, thanks for the support anyway. Passed on Friday, first time i drove her on the road properly in 7 years. Takes me back to when i first bought her in 2004. Since the mot, she's developed a fueling problem, flat spot then goes like hell. Pulls like a train once the flat spot has cleared. I'll be checking the temp sensor and lambda wiring over the next few days. This is the least of my problems, as she has a 12 month ticket on her lol
24. One sweet ride, wish mine was like that lol
