Hi all, I'm hoping someone can give me some help and guidance here!! I have a 1.8t AUQ conversion in my rado, running QPEng plug and play system. After changing the crank sensor for an OEM Bosch one from GSF I finally have the car running again. But the new problem has arisen now. When the car reaches 3500rpm the tacho drops back down to about 1000rpm. I have had Jon from Quantum out to my car and this has left him scratching his head, and my mechanic/auto elec scratching his head too. Any help would be greatly received. Thanks Sam

Can anyone tell me if there is a 1.8t conversion specialist in Northampton/ East Midlands please? Mine has already been converted but am having some issues with the car :-/ I have already sent the loom and ecu back to Quantum for re-working but still no real joy. Thanks

Does anybody in and around the northamptonishire area have the qpeng diagnostic tool with the 3.5mm headphone jack? Am having more issues with mine now. begining to lose faith in my corrado now :'(

Hi, am selling my black cloth interior from my '93 corrado its in great condition, has the flat rear bench £50. Would prefer collection if I'm honest. I am located in Northampton. http://s1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee378/turborado1/?action=view¤t=89f0a100.jpg http://s1224.photobucket.com/albums/ee378/turborado1/?action=view¤t=4b4a7953.jpg

I have a 1.8t conversion in my rado and unfortunately the engine mounts are on their way out. So the questions im asking are; are the standard leon engine mounts the right ones because of the conversion? and secondly if i were to go the vibratechnics route which do you recommend? (car is a daily driver which never see's a track) thanx

The cup holders look quality! is there actually a build thread about how to do them? dont want to take a dremel to my dashboard only to end up with a botch job held together with gaffer tape lol
-
Hi, where in Northampton are you? as i am also located here. Very interested though!
-
What was the problem in the end? did you get it sorted? my corrado is starting to play up by refusing to start for me! i have similar problems
-
I need to get it running again but will definitely get it on a dyno and check for faults, but on my not running subject i have just had a new crank position sensor fitted but i dint have a spark, anyone got any ideas?

I'm using Qpeng engine management

My car is producing 265lbft of torque, so not an insane amount

I kept it as AUQ each time i replaced the block, just because it was cheaper to buy a bare engine block and use my ancillaries. I have been toying with the idea of either disassembling a BAM engine or investing in a complete bottom end overhaul and putting in heavy duty rods, bearings and bolts but its alot of pennies atm haha. On mine i never use anything less than super unleaded 99 octane, and I am running a huuuuuge intercooler from a mercedes sprinter, so when i need the power its there but its just really un-nerving when i put my foot down as am constantly worried about a repeat of the engine destruction.
