For sale a 1992 Volkswagen Corrado G60 (Moonlight Pearl Blue) 132583 Miles. I’ve owned this car for 2 years and am the 4th keeper. It has been used as my daily commuter covering 28k miles approx. mainly on the A34. It is taxed until 31st October and the MOT is not due to be renewed until April 14th 2014. The charger was serviced at 105,000 Miles and the Cambelt / Water Pump 109,405 Miles. The previous owner made some well thought out performance modifications. The car features a full Stainless Jetex Exhaust System , 68mm Pulley, RSR Outlet Kit (Boost Return Deleted), Oil Cooler Oil/Air (Original water to air removed correctly with new water pipes); 4bar VR6 Fuel Pump; Liquid Charge Cooler, K&N Panel Filter and was mapped at Stealth Racing @ 195hp . The body work is in fair condition, there has been some questionable Jack placement on the sills and you can see a little corrosion in the Photos. The full Black Leather Interior is very nice. I’m hoping that the pictures will give you an accurate idea of what to expect if you would like to view the car. The car has comprehensive Service History mainly at dealership and some receipts. The car was most recently serviced at EDM Motorsport at 129,153. Any questions, please PM me. Link to PhotoBucket Album http://s1249.photobucket.com/user/josbusby/library/Corrado

Hello Everyone, I've lost the back lights on my MFA and Clock Display. The MFA went first , followed by the Clock shortly after. Probably unrelated but I noticed what appears to be like a greasy substance spreading across the Speedometer which is really odd , just wondering if it may be related, it's been like that for a while. I guess I should probably just pull the dials out and see whats going on, I though I would pose the question just in case anyone else has seen such an issue in the past. Thanks, Jos Edit: Fixed , Swapped out the Bulbs :) Easy Job

Thats sounds worse than my story, it's not ideal getting in a out of the car via the passengers door as I have been. Alas it seems I spoke too soon, intermittantly the actuator does not lift properly, it lifts the pin and drops a little. When this happens the door doesn't open . Anyhow I shall leave it until tommorow. If anyone knows the solution it would be of great help.

Hello, Just thought I would post my experience with this problem as it may help others in the future. I Initially only had one problem, I had the dreaded click when I opened the drivers door one day, fortunately I knew from my brothers experience and the forum with Corrado's that this was a relatively common issue. Anyhow I got a repair kit of ebay and replaced the problem hammer. I assembled it all back together , put the door card on and I was happy, I shut the door, but then I went to open the door from the outside and it wouldn't open. I wasn't too alarmed until I found I couldn't now open it from the inside either. To cut a long story short , after fiddling with coat hangers and various tools my solution came in the form of a Halfords Offset Screwdriver. With this tool from the out side of the car I was able to undo the bolt that holds the door handle on. Once I removed the handle, I noticed the metal trigger that is pushed down by the hammer ( I had just repaired ) no longer had any spring in it. I played around with the Central locking but nothing was happening. So I held the metal plunger up and locked the car with the remote and it stayed up and bingo , I was able to open the door. The reason the fiasco happened was because I didn't route the cable from the door handle properly. Anyhow , Just thought I would let you know.... Now a much happier Corrado owner :) Busby

Thanks Mike16v, Managed to get one from GSF, it does seem to have helped but I can't be confident it's fixed the issue completely just yet, noticable the old one was stuck in with some silicone rather then just changing the 'o' ring , can I confirm that you just changed the Blue one, It appears there is another black one adjacent, maybe one for the guage and one for the ECU ?

after reading this: http://the-corrado.net/archive/index.php/t-23672.html? I'm not entirely convinced I was that thorough in cleaning the ISV, so I am going to have another go at the weekend! Will report back ! :) Thanks,

I am new to the forum and new to owning a Corrado G60 , so in at the deep end! I do have a query that maybe someone could help or offer some advice on, I know it may be something discussed before but the symptoms are a little peculiar to me at least. Let me describe the problem: The starts well and idle normal, this will continue for a while and often not be a problem , however sometime I will come to a standstill , blip the throttle at it will stick at 1500 RPM before gradually dropping down to a what I would consider a high idle. I’ve taken the Idle Valve out and given it a good clean, and the throttle returns to a close. It’s as if the air regulation / fuel injectors aren’t functioning properly but on an intermittent basis ? A video is here although not great. http://youtu.be/xRmBW--kfCk Any help you can offer would be gratefully received. Thanks,
