ive got the standard vw/scorpion alarm on my with full closure which includes the tilt and slide sunroof

im sure i seen some where that the valves on 16v's have got magnesium seats on them,but im not 100% sure though

the new vw antifreeze will mix with other antifreeze now,as someone pointed out on the e groups

adam m if you did the wiring mod(not really a mod but a neccessity)you would notice the difference straight away,because some where along the wiring it is loosing 2v

it was a 1.8t ,i was changing my mind as i was driving down there,just the sound alone not to mention the perfect driving of the c,even the sales man said it was a nice car and that he drives an evo7

i nearly got rid of the c today for a golf gti,but the garage didnt have any in(when i phoned they said they did)and to top it off they only offred 2k for the the c...i dont know what i was thinking...anyone care to give me a slap to bring me make to planet earth!!! :?:

take a look on the user group files and there is a file there on how to do it by andy bryant,and he tested it before and after and before there was a 2volt drop and on the uprated there was none,ive done the mod and believe me it makes one hell of a difference

you may of noticed that on older vw's the lights are pants,because of the way vw did the headlight wiring loom the voltage loses 2v by the time it gets to the bulbs,all you are doing is shortening the loom so that by the time it reaches the bulb it is still 12v or near abouts,by fitting higher amp wire you can use higher wattage bulbs also

relay £3 fuse holder £3 connectors £2.50 insulation tape £1.50 and some wire that i borrowed from work,fitted it myself which is dead easy!!

mine has got to be when i finally got round to uprating the headlight wiring,now i can see more than 20ft,imo the best £10 ive spent on the car

i had that same problem with mine,so i changed the ignition switch which is a bit of a txxx to do

well the amount of money ive spent on my car in the first 12 months of owning my c i think she deserves to be spoilt

will be getting them in the new year,i know demon tweeks sell them for £292 which is handy for me just being 6 miles from where i live,but i will be looking around to see if i can get them any cheaper

ive got a chance of some 18" alloys,what would i need to do to get them to fit?or should i not bother and go for some 17" instead ps they are brand new and going for £600 ono
