  1. I assume you must travel between the 3 addresses? very interested but im between all 3 addresses so a middle meet would work well for me if you could while traveling from north to south or vice versa?
  2. Have you still got a flash red drivers wing? Thanks
  3. If the driver wing in flash is still available put my name on it please.
  4. Lovely looking example there! Nice little story starting to go with it too. Makes me want mine back on the road even more!
  5. So, an update finally... Corrado is officially in its new home. Started stripping the loom down further.... To find this.... Any ideas what my un-used, half botched together wires are for? could they just be un-used generic loom or has it been faffed about with. The wires into the "plugs" are from the battery and go through the bulkhead below the ecu loom. the triple fuse holder is also between the battery and the un-used plugs. Thanks for looking.
  6. Decided to put abit more time in on the coil bracket as it looked messy, New results --
  7. Saw this y-day on SS facebook page. Loved it there, still loving it here, following this now!
  8. Thanks mate :thumbleft: Think I might tidy it up some more and take abit of meat out of it yet but Ill have to see.
  9. Made up a quick distributor "plug" / bracket for my coil pack today, trying to keep it all OEM positions. Quite happy with the outcome.....
  10. Yeah one of those dynos that break your heart! Anyway, more progress this weekend, finished painting the box, begun stripping the loom and cleaning the bay. The exciting bit, pics...
  11. For a ko4 the power figures seem low. Thst wants to go to r tech ;)
  12. Sounds lovely mate! Nice figures too. Whats in the yellow one? Sounds pretty fruity too
  13. That sounds lovely. Any vids? I love the carb noice! Im going kr exhaust as when u look into lift and duration the 027 exhaust series is more aggressive. The combo is the best 2 16v stock cams I could find for lift vs duration. Being megajolt I need a crank sensor and making a bracket in place of the dizzy to hold the coil pack for an oem look. Got it cheap so made sense over electronic advance dizzy as theres alot more scope for a smoother ignition curve. I think if it all comes together it will be fun enough.
  14. Fronts weigh just over 6 and rears just under 7 as they are 16 x 7/8. The megajolt uses mainly ford edis parts so a 36/1 trigger wheel will be fitted to the outter belt pulley and a ford crank sensor for ease of megjolt as its got all the ford bits with it. See how it goes. Ive looked over alot of stuff and I think I should be on for a fun car for a while untill I want more power..
  15. Its not got a cat mate. And the 3 spokes weigh in around 6/7kg a peice :)
  16. Ahh hoping megajolt ignition and all the adjuments that can make will help tickover. Heard of that issue but from talking to some mates into fords as r1 on a pinto is comon too. They all seem to be having no issues. Idle jets? Never heard of a dub running different sizes but the ford guys change them?
  17. 2.0l 16v 9a died at 179k :( think its metering head, but having a full rebuild anyway :)
  18. Well main advantage is power due to more surface area to suck air in. 4 x 45mm intakes rathrr than the single throttle on the injection. Disadvantages are bad economy and probably not gna be all that reliable but its a weekend car so that is by the by. Other advantages, cheaper than does, looks good. Sound awesome. And as a mod they are simple. Ive just gone mad and am doing literally everything. Megajolt ignition/full head rebuild etc. Main reason im doing it is because I keep having metering heads dying being a ke-jet not the 1.8k-jet they are harder and more pricey to find. Sick of the electronic crap letting the car down do it had to go. Ideally would of like webbers but considering the r1 carbs dont drop out of tune as much and are 100notes rather than 400/800 depending on what n what condition webbers are it makes most financial sence. Dont usually get to do it at work just been unusually quiet. Thanks mate.
  19. Yeah made it in work on a cnc mill for hole positions and a lathe for final sizing etc. Easy enough. Not worth the 160 notes they cost dude. Oh and i made it due to the head having a heavy ish skim, so timing will be out, also i hear a little advance is good, especially with a higher comp / bike carb engine.
  20. Not that anybody seems interested but heres a vernier pulley i knocked up to save buying one at £160!
  21. Thanks mate will have to check out courier prices as your 150mile away :(
  22. Condition price and location please lilfuzzer? Thanks
  23. Morning guys, Thought it was about time to start updating my build and making a proper thread of it so I have extra imput of all you guys who may have done similar before and as a record of what I have done. So the corrado as you can see below in its previous guises started to annoy me with leaking KE-jet heads etc. First Guise when I put my stamp on it (sorry if pics repeated) Seccond Guise (borbet wheels instead of fake bbs) So this happened because of KE-jet messing me about From here I plan to make abit of a N/A fast road / track car. Plans -2.0 stock 9a bottom end (as I know its in very good tight order) -KR head, ported and fully rebuilt and skimmed -ABF inlet , KR exhaust cam. (will be making my own vernier pulley at work) -Megajolt Ignition -R1 carbs -Upper and lower front strut braces -Rear strut brace -Volk Racing C ultra 3 spoke wheels in 16x7 and 16x8 -MK3 Golf GTI rear beam, polybushed -Full widetrack MK3 GTI front set up. -G60 clutch plus other maintenance items. Rear brace installed : Volk lightweight wheels: Colour Wheels and bay accents will be going (comments welcome) Thanks for looking, Comments, criticisms and advice very welcome.
