  1. Time for another update. It's unbelievable how fast time goes past. I've been working on the car on week night's, once the little one's in bed. The exhaust system is completed and fitted to the car. Heat wrapped the downpipe down to the flexi.
  2. Thanks. Can't wait to get her going.
  3. Labeled my ecu plug tails. Going to try and use the M-Tech v4 self programmable ecu. Got it powered up to see if everything was working as should be. Turns out I wasn't getting any MAP. When I soldered in a new map sensor there was no difference but after giving it to a friend he diagnosed the problem. The sensor had been soldered in the wrong way from the start. The ecu had been running an N/A throttle body setup and hadn't been using the map sensor. Flipped it round and resolderd, job done. Still need to get her rigged up to a VR sensor and see if I get RPM.
  4. Bought in some pipe for external wastegate, so got on with that. Decided against a screamer pipe, think she'll be load enough 😁
  5. Center section. Ready to tig up.
  6. Cheers. Yeah its not so bad as it goes over right at the pivot point of the rear beam. I've tried my best to keep it away. Is your car lowered?
  7. Fabricated together the backbox using a 5" silencer and some of the 3" straight pipe. Mocked up and tacked the rear section. Things really start to tighten up when using 3" stuff 😁
  8. Bought 3 meter length's of 3 inch stainless exhaust pipe from eBay. Also orderd two 90 bends, one a tight, and six 45 bends. I found that was maybe a bit excessive. Also bought 3" v-clamps and flanges, a joiner and clamp, and a 4" long flexible. I then started mocking and tacking up the downpipe.
  9. ff with the old s/s powerflow system.
  10. Don't worry, I have done a little more haha. Will get pics uploaded asap
  11. Hard to believe its been four month's since my last update! Not a lot done to be honest, considering the length of time. Been busy with the house and garden as it's the right time of year for all that jazz. Really need to pull my finger out if I want this project finished or at least on the road by the end of the year. Ok a little update. Changed my broken chain guide and put side cover and cam cover with new gasket back on. Fitted new big end shells. There was nothing wrong with the original ones. Machined up a couple oil return and external wastegate flanges.
  12. Very nice!! [emoji110] [emoji97]
  13. Will be nice and fresh when finished. [emoji3]
