1. NOW SOLD PLEASE LOCK After careful consideration I've decided to drop the asking price from £6000 to £5000 (no offers). The car is in great condition and I'm only dropping the price due to concerns over the insurance classification. Any inspection welcome, I'm happy to keep her if she doesn't go at this price. The car is rust free and all electrics work. After 5 (mostly) blissful years of ownership, the recent arrival of another tiny person and new house purchase mean I no longer have the time or love to give to my Corrado. This is my second corrado and 5th VR6 and easily my favourite of them all. I purchased this Corrado from the MD at Heaton Park Coachworks in Newcastle following restoration and full glass and seal out respray. The car was brought in with light panel damage following a collision with a bollard due to a failed handbrake. I was never worried about the classification as the condition and driveability of the car were so good and the workmanship of the coachworks excellent. I guess that should be expected as it was the MD's personal car. After doing a bit of research I've discovered it was classified as a Cat C in 2010 and whilst I appreciate there is a stigma involved with this I beleive it is still an excellent example and deserves my asking price below . . .I do however appreciate that the history will put a lot of buyers off and will therefore be open to reasonable offers. I really believe it needs to be seen and driven to be appreciated fully. The car was completely standard when I purchased it and I've only carried out minor modifications which I feel enhance the car but they can easily be reverted to original spec. KW V1 Coilovers Milltek Classic cat-back SS exhaust Lupo GTI Wiper conversion BMC CDA intake JVC Bluetooth head unit Magnecor leads (blue) Re-trim of steering wheel, hand-brake handle, gear-knob and gaiter Corrado embroidered mats Recently refurb'd BBS RX 16" currently fitted (car will come on refurb'd speedlines and nearly new Kumho ecsta sports all round). I'm sure there is more but that's off the top of my head. The car has covered 99400 miles. There will be several extra and spare parts supplied including the following. Sprinters under bonnet sound proofing kit Uprated headlight wiring loom (forum member) Thermostat Spare grille Second hand door aperture seals Original airbox OE HT Leads Again, there's probably a few other bits. There hasn't been any head work carried out to my knowledge, I enquired about a top end rebuild last service for peace of mind but was advised against it as the engine runs, sounds and pulls well with no signs of loose chain tensioners etc. I've tried to add a load of photo's below so hopefully they've worked out. The price I've put on the car on Car and Classic is now:- £5000 As mentioned prior, I believe the condition of this car warrants the price. Please message me for more info or specific/further pictures. Regards, Matt

5. PRICE CHANGE £4750 1996 N VW Corrado VR6 Moonlight Blue Black Leather £4750 I'm selling my Corrado as described in the title. I have owned it for the last 7 years It has just been serviced and has an MOT till Nov 2018 Mileage... Well the speedo says 90,000 but... The speedo is the speedo that came with the engine. This was fitted by a previous owner at approximately 70,000 miles of the engine and 140,000 of the vehicle, so the car is probably at about 160,000 miles It is a fairly unmolested late registered example. Modifications that it has had are:- Miltek Cat-back stainless exhaust Lupo wipers Upgraded headlamp wiring BBS RS771 16inch alloys Sits on Michelin Pilot Sport 205/50 16s. less than 10000 miles on these. Work in recent years new fuel pump new starter new ignition switch new discs all round new calipers all round new windscreen with tinted top portion Usual Corrado points Yes - the fan works at all 4 speeds Yes - spoiler works - up at 55mph and down at 20mph, and manually Yes - the sunroof works on both tilt and slide The car is beginning to show some rust spots around the body and the arches will need to be tidied up. That said, the windscreen surround metal work has had a full windscreen out metal work repair. There are a couple of dings NSF arch, the panel behind the NS door below the rubbing strip and the rear panel below the NS lights. The car goes and handles well. Looking for £4750 or near offer Link below should take you to pics https://photos.app.goo.gl/WWMLhT1yBVTNw9512 Thanks for looking David

7. Sadly, the time has come to sell my beloved VR6 Corrado. It is a 1995 'N' registration blackberry with black leather interior and has done 94,300 miles. It is in good condition and drives well. There have been no special modifications but it has a full VW service history and parts have been replaced as and when required by a local VW garage (Lancaster in Towcester). Its last major service and MOT was on 24th November 2017. It has had only one owner before me and I have had it since 1996, at 6,000 miles. It has been kept garaged (in Milton Keynes) and well treated. It has the original first aid kit and warning triangle and everything still works, i.e. sun roof, rear spoiler, heater, ABS and heated front seats. The door handle mechanisms that can sometimes break have been replaced on both doors. The ABS unit has been replaced with an identical used one but another identical used spare is included. It has been fitted with an AutoWatch 160RLi/T Category 1 Thatcham alarm system. The stereo is a Sony MEX-BT5100 unit which connects to an iPod-to-Sony Head Unit device in the glove box so that an iPod can be discretely hidden away and controlled by the head unit. The Sony unit supports hands-free mobile telephony via Bluetooth. Not many negatives - there are some small blemishes on the paintwork along with 3 small rust spots starting to appear on the bonnet and a bit of rust around the filler cap. The original Speedline wheels show some signs of blistering and the driver seat bolster looks a bit worn. £3,600.

10. So, unfortunately after a lot of hard work and effort I'm going to have to sell my beloved Corrado. I've just started a new business and need the cash to help fund it. I've already got another car so can't warrant keeping 2 when I need the money. So, a bit of history, I bought this car about 4 months ago after it has been off the road a while. It didn't have an MOT so I basically go it back on the road again and the car is solid. The MOT passed without any advisories. The body work was in poor condition so I gave it a full respray myself and whilst it's no show winning finish It's 100 times better than it was. The car doesn't have a scratch on it and not a single bit of rust The car comes with the original handbook and a load of history. Has the pre inspection slip with it too. I've also got a medi kit that goes in the centre arm rest The car comes with 9 Months MOT Full service history 164k but engine is solid. No knocks or chain rattle Grey cloth interior in excellent condition Staggered Porsche D90's with adapters (7j front 8j rear) with near enough new tyres Bluetooth alpine stereo Powerflow exhaust that sounds lovely Lowered on coilovers unsure on the make Nearly new brembo brake pads Flat bottomed momo steering wheel Eyebrow spoiler newly painted A brand new 50mm splitter that's only a month old ordered from Germany Brand new pressed number plates Few bits that need attention *cracked fog *slight tear in the driver side seat *sunroof tilts but won't slide (obviously) *roof could do with a cut and buff Obviously I'm gutted to have to sell but this is my 6th corrado and I know I'll end up getting the another. To summerise, you're getting a solid corrado for not a lot of money. The car isn't perfect so please don't expect it to be. It is 25 years old after all. Some checks I ran revealed it was cat d nearly 20 years ago. This is obviously just light damage and has been fine since. Everything's fine with it now I'm asking £2500 for it - Very reasonable i think. Car in Sunderland. Call 07879682842 for any test drives or questions
11. 12mths MOT as of 4/7/17 sailed through with no recommendations. This Car has the original Karmann Interior inc heated fron Leather seats, original wheels and paintwork. 1995 Cherry Black 2.9 VW Corrado VR6, Only 80,000 Genuine Miles, tons of paper work to prove it could be full service history but havn't been through it all, Spent £2,600 last year 4 new tyres, full service, new fuel pump, shock Absorbers all round two Wishbone arms, front and back pads. Was my fathers pride and joy but sat in a garage for 9 years due to his eye sight, im not into cars and im sure somebody wants to take over the bit of work left to do. Few little scrapes and a dent over back wheel arch will accept offers over 6K. 12. Sadly I need to sell my Corrado VR6 Mark 2 as I need a car with more space for luggage. It has done 122,000 miles and is in good but not perfect condition. It goes well and has comfortable leather seats. The brake pipes and the rear beam bushes were replaced in 2010, other parts have been replaced from time to time, and in June 2017 a couple of ABS sensors were replaced together with the ignition coil pack, sparkplugs, HT leads and battery. The MOT is dated 28 June 2017. The rear spoiler works well but the sunroof has recently got too stiff. It includes four spare 15 inch 6.5J Speedline wheels and four other VW wheels. I would like it to go to an enthusiast but it is challenging to set a price. I have in mind £3,900 or offers. I'm based in Bath and you can contact me on 07870 681747.
13. Hi everyone here! I'm pretty new to this forum but I've owned my Corrado VR6 now for about 15 years and it's time for me to part ways with it. If anyone's interested in buying one here are the details: 1992 Blue VW Corrado VR6 97,500 miles All original and unadulterated Well looked after and in great condition Garaged most of its life and been in the same family for over 20 years Good service history in the form of invoices and MOT's from 1995 onward Full leather interior - chairs and panels Still feels like new and a pleasure to drive It was owned by my parents before me so I know it was well looked after even before I had it. Exhaust was replaced about 5 years ago and hasn't done much mileage since then. Sunroof was fixed earlier this year and now tilts and slides just like it should. I'm asking £6450 but I'm open to offers. I'll follow up with some pics

15. With a very heavy heart I have to sell my Corrado. I’ve owned the car for the last 11 years and it has been faultless. It’s covered 142k miles, but don’t let that put you off because I’ve pretty much replaced everything mechanical and so it wants for nothing – all mechanical works were done by John Mitchell Racing, renowned Corrado specialist. John knows the car well. I had planned to keep the car and do a cosmetic restoration, but alas time and the need for something comfortable to do motorway miles has prevented this. There’s a bit of cosmetic tidying up to do, but this is a solid car and it drives incredibly well due to the significant mechanical work done – the engine is fantastic since the rebuild, the gearbox is one of the smoothest I’ve driven, the suspension and handling are taut and correct as a Corrado should be. I’ve always used OE parts, and minor upgrades have been made only where they improve on the originals. I’ll be heartbroken to see it go, but needs must. Apologies for the essay, but I like a lot of detail when I’m buying cars. ENGINE Standard spec, but rebuilt in 2014 (12000 miles ago) by JMR. I have pictures of the work done. Head removed, light skim and decoke. Head rebuilt with new OEM valve seals and tappets, valves reground, new Reinz steel gasket giving a slightly higher compression ratio. Engine rebuilt with new OEM timing chains, guides, sprockets and tensioners, new OEM water and oil pump and Sachs clutch. New manifold and sump gaskets. New starter motor, new engine mounts (OE front mount, 2 x Vibratechnics gearbox mounts). This work totalled ~£4500. Lambda sensor and MAF sensor replaced in my ownership. Oil changed every 3000 miles with Synta silver and OEM filters. Custom Longlife stainless exhaust fitted 2007, not loud! DRIVETRAIN Full suspension rebush just after I bought the car, and Koni SSK dampers with H&R springs fitted at the time. These were replaced this year with AP coilovers and Powerflex poly strut mounts front and rear. OEM Mk4 Golf rear calipers, 288mm front brakes. ABS pump replaced, many sensor rings replaced. All solid brake lines replaced by JMR with new CuNiFer pipes. All flexible hoses replaced with Goodridge braided hoses. Gearbox oil renewed every 2-3 years with Redline MT90 Currently running on 16” Montreal alloys, which I bought fully powder coated and are still in great condition with Hankook winter tyres – it’s still sitting on these (I know it’s Summer) but I do also have the original Speedlines which come with the sale. I have refurbed these some time ago but they need some fresh rubber. INTERIOR Full heated black leather seats, in excellent condition and regularly treated with Gliptone Liquid Leather. Some minor lower bolster sag on driver’s seat, but no rips scuffs or tears. Everything works on the dash including fan and heater on all speeds. Heater matrix replaced in 2014 with new OEM part – few dash rattles since then but nothing that a bit of trim tape wouldn’t fix. Pure H260DBi DAB head unit (with Bluetooth calling and streaming) and windscreen mount aerial fitted in 2013 by Andy Bryant (Trimsport). At the same time Andy fitted a Cobra 4138 Cat1 alarm and immobiliser for which I have the certificate – it’s been faultless. The previous owner fitted 6x9 speakers in the parcel shelf and Alpine components in the rear door cards – I have an uncut parcel shelf which is also available. Sunroof works fine on tilt and slide. EXTERIOR Paint is OK – some stonechips on the front as you’d expect with the age. There is a scuff and small dent on the passenger door and wing where my neighbour backed into the car and I’ve not yet sorted this. A few other dings but by no means terrible. The rear bumper is scuffed and deformed on the corner, but I have another bumper that needs painting but comes with the sale. There are a few rust scabs – I have treated these when I found them with Bilt Hamber De-Ox and black Hammerite. Some minor jacking damage on the sills and some rust but nothing serious – the rest of the underside is fully solid. This makes it sound like a rot box but it really isn’t – as you can see from the photos it cleans up lovely and I still get many compliments on the appearance – I’m just being honest. I had intended to respray the car and get all these issues sorted but don’t now have the time so selling as it is. Fogs are cracked, but I have some replacement fogs which can be bought by separate negotiation. I also have a load of other parts I’ve been hoarding for the cosmetic refurb including seals, headlights, uncut parcel shelf, brand new OE wing mirrors, plus other stuff I’ve forgotten – this is all available separately. Spoiler no longer rises automatically, at least not all the time. It still goes up and down fine on the button, and occasionally works automatically too. Again I’ve not had time to sort this. N/S window regulator changed, all windows work fine. Lupo wiper upgrade, JMR upgraded headlight loom. SERVICE HISTORY Full history, including original bill of sale, full book pack, service book with 17 stamps in it. Dealer history to 2003, since then it has been mainly JMR. Original 1996 sales brochure. Massive folder of receipts for everything I’ve had done, plus everything from the previous owners. Spare keys and alarm fob present and correct, as well as instruction manuals and installation certificate for stereo and alarm. As you can probably tell by now I’m a bit anal so I’ve kept EVERYTHING. PRICE I’m looking for £5250. Other spares available separately, or a deal may be possible with the car. Any questions, please ask. I can send photos by request and have an Excel summary file of all the works done in my ownership that I can email.
16. Reluctantly selling my beautiful, top of the range Corrado 2.9 VR6 190BHP 'Storm' Automatic in superb condition, inside and out. Finished in Classic Green equipped with full cream leather interior, maintained in its classic, original style with no moderations. Very rare car with only 10 ever licensed and 9 SORN - meaning this car is the only one of its kind still on the road! This car is a pure delight to drive, having covered just over 104,000 miles in its 22 years, supported by extensive service history, all previous MOT certificates and a vast array of invoices supporting all the work carried out over the years. Since I have had it I have carried out extensive work to ensure it continues to work in exceptional order. New exhaust system, new BBS alloys and tyres fitted in December 2016 and some minor paintwork improvements made in January 2017. Fully working sunroof (both open and tilt) and rear spoiler. Original first aid kit, service books, handbooks and jack set. Air-conditioning and heated seats. Corrado embossed floor mats and two keys. The one and only upgrade is in the radio which is fully bluetooth enabled with handsfree capabilities. Three known minor issues as follows: Illumination light on auto transmission not working - bulbs available. Front passenger side alloy lightly scuffed Front left hand fog light slightly cracked I am reluctantly selling due to a complete unforeseen change in my personal circumstances which means that this is no longer a practical daily car. Can absolutely be used as a daily - in excellent mechanical order. Is the perfect time of year to be investing in such as fabulous, long term classic investment. £9,995 or sensible offers. Happy to answer any questions! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

18. Original VW Corrado from 1989. It is the 1.8 16v model in White. I have owned the car for 10 years and had it 'on the road' for about 8 of those (it was SORN for approx. 2 years around 2010). The car is in reasonable condition (for an almost 30 year old car) but would benefit from some fairly simple TLC by a new loving owner. Engine fully operational, always starts, drives well, slightly rattly on cold idle but warms up nicely. Has been used at least a few times a week for last 4 years and has never let me down! The bodywork has received some paint over the years, on the whole it's in good condition with a few chips/scratches visible close up, the front bumper has been scuffed resulting in paint being chipped off, the bumper itself is in fairly good order but would benefit from re-painting. A couple of light lenses have cracks which could be easily replaced if required but all lights work OK and always pass MOT in current condition. The rear spoiler operates as it should, up and down, automatically lifting at approx 45mph. The sun-roof seals are good and water tight, it operates electrically to the tilt position and back down but doesn’t slide open horizontally (I've not looked into this but probably repairable). Four good wheels and tyres, some curb scuffs to wheels. Interior in reasonable condition for age, some small plastic trims broken/missing and some marks to upholstery but clean and comfortable overall and most minor issues could be easily repaired. Drives well, handles perfectly and has been used regularly. Mainly stored indoors overnight. Recently MOT’d. Current MOT valid until 05 March 2018. Significant audio equipment currently installed, could be sold separately with vehicle or removed pre-sale depending on your wishes. An honest sale of an honest used car due to not having time to enjoy and maintain it anymore. It will be sadly missed! £1750 (or nearest sensible offer, sold as seen) Viewings available / Collection from Swindon / 07967 197728 / [email protected]
19. VW Corrado 2.0 16v Owned the car for a year now been used as a daily never had no problems always been spot on. Mileage 174,000 roughly clocks have been changed due to old ones not work everything has been recorded MOT: Mid December Good points: * Borbet A wheels 7j front 8j rear * Coilovers * New slave and master clutch, * New idle air control valve * Leather front seats slight rip * Rear spoiler works along with glass sunroof (apparently rare?) * Serviced last year * Pressed plates * Philips 130% headlight bulbs * New Bosch battery * Dizzy cap Bad points: * Slight surface rust on rear arches due to them being rolled * Bonnet could also use some tlc * Windows intermittently work. Overall all car is in good condition for its age I've tried to get it as best I could, but unfortunately due to job change time for a diesel I've been completely honest about the car if I think of anymore bits I'll always update £2000 Nottingham Contact : 07402146962 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
20. Hi all, I am reluctantly going to be selling my g60, which I have owned since may 31st 1995. The car is used daily and was reverted back to standard in 1995. Only selling because I have no room to store it. Two weeks after I bought the car the engine blew, it had been modified my naievity I didn't know it had been upgraded and buying from blackbush car auctions in surrey there was no comeback. After a lot phone calls and detective work I found the engine had a warranty on it, I therefore managed to get a new engine fitted by peter coopers vw dealer (still have receipt. The car was then taken to BBR Racing in Banbury to get modified back to standard. In the 22 years I have owned the the car it has had 3 prangs. 1. minor shunt in the rear. 2. drivers side door prang and 3. drivers side wing. You are now asking why it's so cheap,it needs some loving care on the bodywork and interior. The drivers wing has gone rusty and needs replacing, a part respray is needed, laquer is peeling off the bonnet, and scrathes here and there.and passenger's door ,the seals have had some welding and still need grinding smooth and repraying. The interior is worn in parts the drivers seat is taped up where I get in and hit the side bolster. Passenger window not working at present and has dropped 1/4" inch. I gave the regulator a tap with a hammer and it worked for a year but stopped around last xmas. Sunroof goes up but does not retract. The supercharger has only needed rebuilding once in the time I have had it and that was back in 1999, have no troubles since then car is basically driven pretty conservative the days, I tend to wait till it gets to 90 deg before going over 3000 rpm. I will take some photos soon, car will be ready to go in a couple of weeks. Have lots of receipts, every mot certificate I think, present one runs out 11 jun 2017. I hope the old beast gets restored and gives the next owner 22 years of fun. If anyone on this site is interested let me know. Just north of Portsmouth. Hampshire.
