Had a ride in one of these the other day :shock:

 

I couldn't believe how quick it was! Apparently 0-60 in under 8 secs, it just kept pulling and pulling with 3 of us in the car. 163bhp and 250lbs of torque, it goes like the clappers. It handled superbly too.

Apparently Schnitzer tune them to 190bhp

 

I'm not too keen on it's looks though, but it's probably one of those cars that grows on you :wink:

£20k is pretty steep, but I must admit the quality was top notch.

Those are some very impressive power and torque figures and the 1 series is quite a small car, so can make full use of it!

 

I don't even bother with most BMW diesels because they can show up a VR6 with a simple squeeze of the pedal :oops:

 

Might have to invest in one as a second car next year :D

the new BMW diesel engines are something else....

 

had a go in the 730d last week, it felt like it accelerated on par with a VR6! :lol:

Shame that the 120d is so spectacularly ugly, just like all the Bangle designed BMW's... I don't know if they will ever get their design team back on track after that fiasco.

if so not everything he has done is bad. Infact i think the styling on the new 7 series is bang on :wink:

The newer 3 series's are ok but i'm just not 'feeling' the 5 series too well.

 

The 7's are OK I suppose, but they are just TOO damn big!!
