Sandy 0 Posted October 11, 2004 Hello Folks, I was wondering what would be involved in upgrading the brakes on a sirocco mk1 with some G60 numbers. cheers for any advice in advance
andycowuk 0 Posted October 11, 2004 (I am assuming it uses mk1 git hub.....) U need a braket to attach the g60 caliper carriers to the hubs. Using the 256mm carrier of an audi80 is a much easier conversion.
16VG60 1 Posted October 12, 2004 On My MK1 Scrocco G60 i used the TSR upgrade kit that gave 285mm front discs with original calliper. This combo works very well. Incidentally this car is for sale if anyone is interested?
Mk1GLS 0 Posted October 19, 2004 Have a look on the Scirocco Register forum, most of these q's have been answered ther. cheers
theRuler 0 Posted October 19, 2004 yeh TSW sell brackets that space the caliper out, allowing for bigger discs. bigger calipers would be nice too. i'd go for the audi conversion.
