G60ING 0 Posted December 28, 2002 Hello. I didn't know where to say hello at so I figured this might be a good forum. Joe M 0 Posted December 28, 2002 Thats a lot of engine mods, what sort of power is it putting out?
G60ING 0 Posted December 28, 2002 well last year before I had the 62mm pulley and air to water IC, tranny, motor mounts, flywheel and some other mods I dynoed at 171hp and 186 tq at the wheels and with this I ran a 14.7 1/4 mile then I installed 62mm and air to water IC and was not able to dyno it before I blew the diff at the track a run or two after I ra a 14.4 1/4 mile right now I'm reassembling my car with the rebuilt tranny and various pieces. Since my car is WAY out tune with the boost and fueling I've decided to go back to a somewhat off the shelf setup so that I use a standard Stage 3 chip and run 16-17psi and the stock injectors. I will be montoring the EGTs so that when I get a standalone fuel management I will be able to tune the car to this setup and temp range which is been proven for a long time by countless people. From there after having a good basic setup I will then crank the boost and fuel up so that I move forward. I'm so tired with having to deal with chip tuners and trying to get one to burn it to my needs. I even went so far as to travel to a chip tuner to have them tune it to my car's needs and to my friend's Lysolm's cars needs and I wasn't satisfied at all. I know that the numbers posted from europe and the USA are never on an even scale so thats why I didn't post them

dan 0 Posted January 2, 2003 Hello G60ING, Welcome to the forum. That's pretty impressive reading in your post. You sound a bit like me. Spending more time working on the car than driving it :)
G60ING 0 Posted January 2, 2003 I think I enjoy working on it as much as driving it. I just don't like paying for it
VR6 0 Posted January 2, 2003 I was going to move this to the off-topic forum but I think with that list of mods, it's much better off left in here!! Very nice spec.
