A 79' Rabbit G60 - I need help from some friends... =]

Recommended Posts

Alright guys, if you can help me with any of this it would rock. I am just about to start a engine swap on my newly purchased (for $40 USD) 1979 Rabbit 4 door. I decided since I had an extra G60 engine sitting around that I would swap that into the car. I plan on completely rebuilding the engine and having it be near perfect in every way. But, I could really use some help from you guys…I have made a list of parts I need for the project. If any of you guys can donate any parts to this swap, I would take care of the shipping costs for anything to be sent over here. Here are the lists, please help me if you can. I could really use the help.

Here is a list of things I need for the engine:

Head gasket set

Block gasket set

Head bolts

Rod bearing set

Intake Manifold Gasket

Crankshaft Seal set

Exhaust manifold gaskets

Fuel Injector Seal Kit

Fuel injector bushings kit

Serpentine belt without AC

V belt, power steering belt

Supercharger belt

Rear motor mount

Front motor mount

Transmission mount

Oil Dipstick

Oil Dipstick guide tube

Oil Drain Plug

Oil Filler Cap

Oil Pan

Windage tray

Timing Belt Kit

Spark Plugs

Distributor Cap

Distributor Rotor

Here is a list of things I need for the body:

European projector headlights

Tinted/smoked tail lights

Side mirrors

Fog light kit

Smoked/tinted side markers

Smoked/tinted front bumper lights

Front euro (small) bumper

Rear euro (small) bumper

if you could help me find the part numbers for these things that would be great! I don’t expect to get much, but anything is going to help.
