KADVR6 0 Posted November 6, 2004 since the weather has got colder my vr6 is a lot faster. the pick up is a lot better and it now feels like it should do. does this mean that there is something wrong somewhere?? :)
vr6storm 0 Posted November 6, 2004 basic science.........cold air = dense air = better induction.................the super/turbo-charged boys get the most benefit tho
MikeVR6 0 Posted November 6, 2004 Colder air is denser, thus contains more oxygen. This creates a more efficient "burn" in the engine, hence the better performance.

KADVR6 0 Posted November 6, 2004 ok thanks for the advice. looks like i will be spending more money on the car? :)
pablo_vr6 0 Posted November 6, 2004 lol indeed :) i had an induction kit in the engine bay before and defo would recommend the carbonio over that setup as the air is 100% cool down there whereas an inbay filter is just gonna suck hot engine bay air. plus it looks really nice ;) not that Im biased of course
