My sunroof - no its not broken! (yet)

I'm wondering whether it's worth fitting the sunroof repair kit / new cables just incase my sunroof ceases up.

 

I've got no problems with it at the moment; it tilits and slides just as it should and I greased it up recently. I'm just worried that something might break, at some point. :?

 

And I should probably replace the door handles too (they're not broken either :lol:)

Well if you've got £250 you want to chuck at the sunroof, then go for it, but I can think of things I'd rather spend the dosh on. It's not like you're going to have the roof lining out anyway at any point either, so it's no easier to do it now or if/when it breaks.

 

I'd go for some of daves16v door handle (pre) repair kits tho 8)

cables about £70 from stealers iirc. I had huge problems with my roof tho its now working i'm in need of respray to the pannel as it dragged taking paint with it. lol if its moving along nicely and as you say greased up, should be fine

Don't mend it if it's not broken. Put your money aside for when it does break IMHO.

And fixing it is a bitch of a fiddly job so it could end up worse rather than better :mad:
