daves16v, unfortunately it's in Tamworth, Staffordshire, but thanks a lot for the offer. It's a little too far for me to travel, as I'd have to take a day off to have a look before the weekend (and there's no chance of that :roll: ). I'm taking the insurance company's offer of £2250 (including excess deduction), and I've scraped together a little bit more, so a budget of about £2500 for a car, and £500 to get it checked over :) If I get a couple of hundred for my Passat, that's a bonus :)
