H 0 Posted December 14, 2004 Does anyone know if it is possible to put brighter bulbs in an unmodified 1995 VR6 also is it a good idea to use high octane fuel or does it not really matter apart from cost obviously H
pablo_vr6 0 Posted December 14, 2004 im using halfords superbrilliance bulbs but many will advise you to upgrade the wiring loom (lad on here sells them for £35 or so).
seanoVR 0 Posted December 14, 2004 Definitely a good idea to use the Shell Optimax or BP Ultimate mate. I think you'll find 80% of people on this forum use the higher octane fuel as it is so much better for the engine, not to mention better fuel consumption and performance..... Not sure on the bulbs though you can get an uprated headlight loom from Gavin on this forum H100VW is his username- drop him a PM HTH
