Lippy 0 Posted December 21, 2004 Hello everyone, I have just entered my second week of Corrado ownership and had my first worry in possibly the most hellish place on earth at this time of year the Trafford Centre  I had been trickling in traffic for about 3/4 hour and not got out of second gear. I noticed when I was on the motorway my dash dial lights seemed to dim slightly when the car was idling and get brighter when I accelerated (once in a blue moon) - when I eventually got to the car park the car was revving below 1000rpm and seemed close to cutting out in conjunction the power steering was like lead. Luckily the car started fine after shopping Is this the sign of something brewing electrically or is it just that the battery had been weakened whilst dawdling along the m60 (lights, heater on etc)? Cheers Andrew P.S - was anyone at the Trafford Centre last night in a Red Corrado, G11 something? with a debadged front grill?
Supercharged 2 Posted December 21, 2004 Probably just a weak battery, take it for a good run and get it tested with a multimeter, this will tell you if the alternator is charging it ok
