cheesy 0 Posted January 2, 2005 I've driven me c for about 100 miles since me conversion, fitted vr6 clutch kit same time. All the gears seemed fine no problems, but now as soon as the car gets to warm i can't select reverse and to get first i have to push down as if i am selecting reverse, same for second push down to select that. have spoke to Daz and thoughts are Cable adjustment just wondering if anyone else as heard of this happening chris Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Henny 0 Posted January 3, 2005 check that all of the brakets which hold the gear cables onto the gearbox are TIGHT... I found that the main one on J-DUB would come slightly adrift when warm and I'd have a similar problem to the one you describe... :| Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
cheesy 0 Posted January 15, 2005 I'm now got myself sorted after xmas and job worries. Gonna get to grips with putting the c back on road. Gonna check what ian has suggested.
