rmn 0 Posted January 25, 2005 I am planning on the 4wd conversion and want to use a haldex diff The haldex diff cant be used with the rallye gearbox, right? so i would need an 02m box from a tt/s3 to use a 1.8t engine I am really asking has anyone any diagrams or dimensions of the mount that i need to make for the 02m box on the chassis leg any help would be greatly appreciated. i have been on dutchdub and had a look, but i didnt see much info on the box. thanks Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

CoxyLaad 0 Posted January 5, 2007 hello mate yes thats right, haldex diffs dont work with rallye gearboxes, unless you are intentionally trying to concetina your car :D I fitted an 02m from a seat leon into my mk2 1.8T years back. Its not that difficult in comparison to the other things you are doing. basically lop the mount off the subframe, mock the engine and box in place, then weld it back on, you are looking at somewhere between 1 adn 2 inches back IIRC.
