woody 0 Posted June 16, 2003 :( Got a water leak on the front of the engine block where a couple of pipes attach from various places. Unit about centre of the engine behind rad. Anybody know what this is??? Also what is a good mix for the collant for a g60? G60Jet 1 Posted June 16, 2003 Do you mean the connection where the top rad hose goes into the block and via a plastic pipe with the blue and black sensors in? If you you should be able to a) if your lucky replace the 'O' rings for the sensors and all will be fine, or B) change the plastic pipe that connects all the hoses to the block. Use new G12 plus antifrezee/coolant from VW instructions are on the bottle for the correct mix for your climate. I'd change the thermostate and flush the system with distilled water is you drain the system. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
julesz 0 Posted June 16, 2003 Easy to change. Buy the whole flange and clip and somethign else (3 parts) from VW for about £15 and swap them over...
