Majik 0 Posted February 2, 2005 i think all the earlier ones had 4/100 like polo golf 2 golf 3 exc gti vr6 corrado exc vr6 passat up to 95 scirocco vento same as mk3 You could look at Rovers 200/400 series, honda civics/crx, renault, most jap cars, vauxhalls, fords and peugeot had 4/108 Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Henny 0 Posted February 2, 2005 rover and vauxhall used to use 4x100 Most other VWs use either 4 or 5 x100, so odds are that if it's a VW and it's got 4 bolts, it's 4x100... exclude the air-cooled stuff - old beetles etc as they had something silly like 4x205 on the older ones and 4x130 on the more recent ones... :| Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

theRuler 0 Posted February 3, 2005 be careful with vauxhall wheels on your dub i put an astra steelie (borrowed off a mate) on my mk1 golf when i had a flat (but no spare) the hole in the middle on a vauxhall wheel is slightly smaller. i had to beat the crap out of it to get it off. so badly did i beat it, that the rim bent. ha! Chris M 0 Posted February 3, 2005 i had the same problem with my mk1 after spinning it and loosing a 6in chunk out of the rim on a kerb, turns out the previous owner had stuck a vauxhall steely in as a spare but i couldn't even get the bolts to catch. ended up limping it into work and borrowing a workmate's mk2 spare. it wasn't like i was going to make any more of a mess of it lol if they are non standard vauxhall alloys though you should just be able to get the plastic spigot rings to suit.
