radodale 0 Posted February 7, 2005 i tried every possibllity (or i think i have) to get different seats b4 getting my car retrimmed and have been advised that the only way to fit any aftermarket seats is through using the subframes off a set of recaros that originally came from a corrado. before i luckily managed to source some i spoke with someone at recaro over here who managed to have a word with a fabricating company regarding making some subframes as they cost £550 each from stealers. they need an actual frame to copy which. the trimmer can take mine out and possibly give them a 3 week deadline to sort them for when mine is getting done. not sure on the cost but can mention to MJ interiors situation as i said to MJ that many people who want different seats will have the same problem and therefore possibly a lot of people might want then. send me pm if interested further and i will get you more info.
