andy 0 Posted February 14, 2005 1 No probs, washer fluid needed, couple of quid. 2 Get Dubsport to do it unless you're up to it. Not mega bucks. 3 New top mounts, £10 to £15 each. Labour may be a fair bit if you get someone to do it as this is a strut out job and may require suspension allignment £40 ish depending on how they do it. 4 Rear strut off job, couple of hours at most labour, bumpstops are 5 Not a massive job, quote? MikeVR6 0 Posted February 14, 2005 1) Rear washer inop (wiper works no fluid). Take the trim off the inside of the boot lid and make sure all the pipes are connected and it's not p1ssing fluid everywhere. If all's ok, stick a pin into the nozzle and swirl it about. They get clogged with dirt. As Andy says, the parts for the other bits aren't dear. The labour's the killer.
Supercharged 2 Posted February 15, 2005 Sounds like the suspension is original and it has to come apart to fit the front TM's and rear BS's so an ideal time to change/upgrade...
redlee 0 Posted February 16, 2005 You thought about taking it to Dubhaus in Wheelton, quite close to you and the labour must be lower than Dubsports.

redlee 0 Posted February 16, 2005 Well he's a veedub specialist and has been around for a while so he shouldn't have any probs. If your heading from the M61 junction (8) away from chorley to blackburn go past the red cat pub then the petrol station/garage on your left you'll see the speed camera on the opposite side of the road and from memory it's the next left, there is a signpost for Wheelton i think :? You'll know you've turned the right way when you hit the cobbles, turn right after the cobbles, then right at the front of the unit and follow around you'll see a collection of veedubs outside. Sorry for crap directions but it is in the middle of nowhere.
