maximus2029 0 Posted February 20, 2005 hello, having this on going problem with my 2.0 16v 1993 corrado.It revs too high on start and when the clutch is dipped to change gears up or down,but when the car has been running for a while and restarted after five mins it is fine.Just had new throttle body fitted,ISV checked and cleaned also injectors and still the exact same problem.Please help :( Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

h100vw 0 Posted February 20, 2005 On a 2 litre the tickover screw should be screwed all the way in. You may have a problem with the closed throttle switch not telling the ECU it should have the engine at tickover. Had a similar snag with a Passat a few years ago.
