EDSTARVR6 0 Posted March 23, 2005 Hi all, my VR6 failed it's MOT today on two counts. One was a front brake hose had bulged, the second was a rear brake pipe was rusty. I have already had one of the brake hoses replaced because of buldging less than two months ago, and I worried the garage is ripping me off by making things up. Is this a common problem? They are quoting me £60 to fix the two items, and are doing it today. I take it they did the other side before and now 2 months later the other side needs doing (unsuprising really as they will both be the same age) Its like things like shocks, wheel bearings etc, you may as well get them done in pairs Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
