DaveVR6 0 Posted April 2, 2005 Is this possible? Appologies if this has been discussed in another thread, I did search!! D
Phil K 0 Posted April 2, 2005 This came up a while ago and the basic answer was "no, don't do it" Apparently, it's illegal to fit it and they could only be done by the manufacturer when the car was made... so if it doesn't show in the options on your documents you'd get caught out anyway. Adam858 0 Posted April 2, 2005 Im sure its not illegal, I know a guy who has fitted it to a VW camper. You can buy the kits in this country for diy fitting, here's one I just found in google. http://www.conrad-anderson.co.uk/cruise/ZT50N.htm I'd like to have it in my C too, mainly for the speed cameras. dr_mat 0 Posted April 2, 2005 Ask your insurance company - it's a safety critical modification. If they say ok, then do it, but I've always heard that they don't like after-market kits particularly.
