Dub Style 0 Posted April 7, 2005 On behalf of a friend, His G60 which had a brand new bottom end some 25k ago the head has been fully rebuilt and the charger is currently stage 4. The car when cold barely holds its idle and needs to be reved until a bit warm, as soon as the temp rises the idle speed goes up too. When the engine is fully warm the car runs at about 1100rpm. Changed the coolant temp sensor no difference. There is a long scew on the throttle body which is fully wound out to the limit so i assume there will be no adjustment left. What you think? Dub Style 0 Posted April 8, 2005 Could it be the Lambda sensor??
olly elworthy 0 Posted April 8, 2005 did you take off the blue temp sensor when adjusting the idle otherwise the ecu will tell the isv to keep the idle what it is at despite you screwing the idle screw in and out,,
Henny 0 Posted April 8, 2005 sounds more like the ISV isn't working properly...
Dub Style 0 Posted April 8, 2005 well i thought the screw thats on the TB is the one for idle adjustment, its fully wound out already if it was able to screw further out then i would have disconnected the blue temp sensor and set it Henny, the ISV has been cleaned and tested works mint
