And can anyone point out on here where abouts I can attach an engine lift or where I can strap so I can lift the front of the car ? VEEDUBBED 0 Posted April 30, 2005 Right, attach your sling/chain to the lifting hook located(should be) above the alt.braket on the cyl. head then either rap it around the exhaust mani. or directly to the gearbox mount braket. There are no AF nuts on a corrado,those exhaust clamp nuts are compleatly rusted on,go get oxy torch... Yes,you can jack the front up from that position,use a block of wood to spread the engine/gearbox weight and keep an eye on the engine's mount, once while i was jakin up my G60 with a hyd. engine mount,it came right out,spraying smelly hyd. oil all over the back of the engine!.
