i am looking to get one of these. so they have different pressure ratings?

i know the different kits have the adapter to run top the fuel rail, but i a using a custom made fuel rail so this is not a concern

 

i see on ebay that new ones are fairly cheap so i am thinking of buying one and just dont know what to do........ :oops:

What do you need it for? Is the engine modded?

 

You can fit lower pressure FPRs from other VAG cars IIRC, can't remember which ones exactly but saw it on a forum somewhere....

 

If the engine is standard, FSE PBVs do bugger all!

no i am building a 16v g60 on stand alone managment

i have to use a fabricated fuel rail as the scirocco 16v inlet was designed for k jet injectors, not electronic....the hassle we go to :lol:

Ah I see.... I used K Star to adjust the rail pressure on my 16V Turbo, but I don' think you can get it anymore?

no, k star is gone, shame really

but i have stand alone management, so that will sort out the map, i just need to wire in the things first, lol

if you have standalone you can keep the fuel pressure constant at a decent value for your chosen injectors and do all the fueling adjustment in the mapping, you just need to select your injectors carefully, so dont see why you would need an adjustable fpr,

if i remember right steve from pitstop does not rate the FSE adjustable FPR`s in boost applications at all, im sure he`ll be along here shortly to comment about it,
