Henny 0 Posted May 20, 2005 billinjahg60, check yer fuses mate! IIRC The fuse is AFTER the relay so the relay will still click even if the fuse has gone... ;)
billinjah 0 Posted May 20, 2005 the fuse is intact done that dude! just dont understand why no voltage at the horn plug when horn pushed and the horns dont work when wired directly id expect one without the other! might just take it to an auto electrician as this will go on forever with no joy i can feel it !! Henny 0 Posted May 20, 2005 don't believe the fuse box cover... ;) check ALL the fuses as I seem to remember that the one labeled for the horn is actually only for the relay...

andiG60 0 Posted May 22, 2005 hi mate, mine is doing the same at the moment. i checked both horns and no voltage and the fuse and relay were fine, local vw specialist said remove the steering wheel and you will find a flap of metal, all that is required is for you to bend it so the horn will make a connection, im doing it this week, but the garage said it was a 2 min job ( that for me usually turns into 3 hrs)!
