WONGA 0 Posted June 2, 2005 Got in my car yesterday and the temp light was flashing,drove for 5 mins turned engine off then it stopped.Went to work today and was fine then drove home and it started flashing again,any advice on why its doing this? steve Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Stormin Dave 0 Posted June 2, 2005 I used to find this happening on my 16V. If the coolent level is a bit low on a cold engine then the light came on but as long as the level wasn't too low a bit of expansion in the fluid seemed to be enough to sort it (temporarily of course).
