mk2_20vt 0 Posted June 13, 2005 It will be a Corrado one as the mk4 driveshafts do not fit. Thought i had the only rado 20vt in dorset :D
Bournemouth James 0 Posted June 13, 2005 Did you use corrado driveshafts on yours?, didnt think they fit either?, mines got custom drive shafts, this is why im thinking it might be a golf inner one and corrado outter one, not sure thou Where abouts in dorset do you live then mate? mk2_20vt 0 Posted June 13, 2005 Yes, i use standard rado driveshafts, they will fit if you are using the 02A or the mk4 02J gearbox. i had to change the gearbox flanges as mine were too big for the 100mm driveshafts. I live in Shaftesbury, what 20v engine are you running?

Bournemouth James 0 Posted June 13, 2005 As far as know its the mk4 golf gearbox with the standard m4 flanges, i think thats why they made cutom drives shafts, does this mean they could be mk4 cv joints? Its an agu 150bhp gti engine
mk2_20vt 0 Posted June 14, 2005 Some of the early mk4 02J gearboxes used 100mm flanges which is the same as the corrado ones, the later boxes used 108mm flanges. Best way to tell is to measure the diameter of the flange. If they are 108mm then you probably have mk4 inner CVs.
