Coolant hose covers

Venom have these braided hose covers, which obviously change the look, but do they add strength? In much the same way as braided brake hoses. Or are they purely for looks?

 

On the site they are under engine, then hoses.

Besides, I dont particularly like the look, just want the functionality and wanted to compare prices with Samco's.

Looks like good stuff. Its the same stuff, well similar, to what we use for aircraft hyd rigs.

Cant find an online retailer though. My work pc wont select from the drop down menu.
