Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 29, 2005 Yeah this forum does too I know, but it's still annoying! Anyway... I think the top pic says it all.... chrome and gold plated bits everywhere....too much time and too much money...but awesome none the less! At least he's got the show and the go....unlike some lesser tarted up engines.
mrbeige 0 Posted July 29, 2005 That looks truely awesome....show car only though, which does defeat the object of a Corrado doesn't it? But hey, probably just the little green monster talking there![/envy]

dinkus 10 Posted July 29, 2005 The chrome on silver looks a bit silly, but they look good on dark cars... I'd like some smoke/red ones I think, but I've seen the quality of the FK lights and they're not too hot. I deffo need to get me some clear side-repeaters tho, the orange ones look poop on the silver.
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 29, 2005 oh my god that is soo bling bling!!!! not ususally my thing but sweet! is it US or German? US mate. It's not normally my thing either but it's the attention to detail that grabbed me and the fact it's turboed  The man has put 100 times the effort and passion into that 1 engine than VW would ever dream of sinking into an entire plant of engines. And that deserves mucho respect. And you can guarantee it's been fully blue printed and built micrometer perfect
chrishill 0 Posted July 29, 2005 The man has put 100 times the effort and passion into that 1 engine than VW would ever dream of sinking into an entire plant of engines. either that or he just decided he'd chrome everything ;)
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted July 29, 2005 LOL, good idea...."got a beat up old 200K motor? Chrome it!" Mind you, the metal needs to be meticulously clean before the chrome will adhere to it, so someone did some good prep work to get chroming that good. No shards of poor chrome flaking off and ripping your skin from that bad boy....
chrishill 0 Posted July 29, 2005 ;) just the green eyed monster coming out in me, kind of makes me feel stupid polishing up my manifold of a sunday when there's glorious creations like this about.

Chris VR6nos 0 Posted July 29, 2005 That turbo is just too big! Hope the internals are up to the same standard as the effort put into the outside of it but i expect it will have! Chris
