I did almost the same thing, I've ordered a new lowered suspension and the meaning was that you have to use parts of the original suspension tot mount the lowered suspension. So I've made a list with ETKA of parts that I need to mount the new suspension.

I've got an complete new suspension under the car and it drives very well.

Im sure most of the front bushes would need replacing if the car is very old. New wishbones with poly bushes is a good start, steering tie rods can be fairly worn also if they are the original ones on the car.

Something like this???

x4 N 10174002

x6 N 10328602

x4 N 90323704

This is not everything, some parts like the rubber mounts front&rear aren't from VW, they're from Monroe. The bumpstops and protection caps are also aftermarket parts. This stuf is 3 times cheaper than original parts and they're from the same quality.

Ps : The list is for a 1990 Corrado G60.

Hope rear bushes are on there too, they are a real Corrado weakpoint and affect how the car handles to a large extent. :)

No joke to fit the VW ones, easier fit the poly’s ;)

front wishbone rear bush (bonded rubber mounting) 191 407 181D £7.50 + VAT *2

front wishbone front bush (bonded rubber mounting) 357 407 182 8.09 + VAT *2

rubber mounting, inner (roll bar to subframe) 191 411 314 1.93 + VAT *2

ball joint 357 407 365 12.37 + VAT *2

rear axle bush (bonded rubber mounting) 191 501 541 16.00 + VAT *2

lower bearing ring (rear damper to body rubber mount) 191 512 333 3.85 + VAT *2

upper bearing ring (rear damper to body rubber mount) 191 512 335 2.93 + VAT *2

105.34 + VAT

------

123.77

need to add 2 drop links to that, plus their rubber wishbone mounting doughnuts *4 and probably suspension top mounts

parts for a 1990 16v, most should be same for G60.

David.

It's everything but the suspension (dampers and spirals/coils), just bolts and nuts.
