1.8 16v Oil

Just about to change the oil on my 1.8 16v. How much will it take? about 4L ??

just checked owners manual. says 'approx 4 litres' with filter change.

 

but also says: 'due to the special tools required, the job knowledge necessary and disposal problems, the engine oil and filter changing should preferably be done by a v.a.g. dealership.'
