corradorocks 0 Posted September 10, 2005 Hey Guys, I've just joined this group!!! I just got myself a 91' Corrado G60 been reading past posts on handbrakes but i seem to be falling at the first hurdle!! I've found the wierd button/tag thing (I think) underneath the hand grip but pressing down hard on it doesn't seem to do anything.... Its like the damn things been glued in or something?? Has anyone got any ideas any pics or diagrams or advise?? Cheers
bix 0 Posted September 10, 2005 Think u have to press the button at the other end near the back, I couldnt get mine off either, my old man had no problems tho :?
corradorocks 0 Posted September 10, 2005 Yeah think thats the one i was talking about, doesn't really look like a button but more like a tag? Is there some kind of hook it needs to release from or something? the hand grip seems too attached to the rest of the lever....
corradorocks 0 Posted September 10, 2005 Yep thats where i'm pressing, I guess its just really stiff, I'll carry on wrestling with it..... least i know i'm on the right track!! Cheers for your help guys!!!

shawshankkid 1 Posted September 11, 2005 Thanks supercharged, Its the leather thats worn i'm sure the plastic is piece is ok. Does the leather just slip over to fit ?. I take it it's a stupid price like most things.
Supercharged 2 Posted September 11, 2005 Yeah just slips on - the plastic I mention above is the plastic version of the handle (not all cars got the leather one)
