chrishill 0 Posted September 12, 2005 as the title says... I saw it with about 1min to go, knew the MAF in my VR ended in '461' so grabbed it since it was cheap on the off-chance its going to work. Am I right in thinking any MAF ending with 461 is going to be ok or am i looking at relisting this and chalking any loss up to experiance? Dutch24V 0 Posted September 12, 2005 It doesn't look like the right one to me, but I could be wrong. The connector looks too small and the original one has a large flatish bottom/side with a large lump of metel attached. At least my original did and so did the replacement - and it ended in 461 Like I say though, could be wrong... Dutch
24V Renshaw 0 Posted September 12, 2005 If its for a 24v 2.8 V6 and no good to you I will have it off you for £20 Chris as I need one. :) Jay
chrishill 0 Posted September 12, 2005 yeah dutch it doesnt look too much like my current one either, but from reading other threads on the topic it looks like anything ending in 461 should work so long as the connection on the loom fits... yup jay, if its not right its yours mate
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted September 12, 2005 Chris you need an OBD1 MAF mate, that's a 4 pin OBD2 one. Yours is 5 pin.
