oil warning light

Recommended Posts

my warning light is coming on now and again.

is this for lack off oil (which would be wrong as had oil change 3 weeks ago)

oil pressure (if so whats cost to fix this)

or oil temp (which cant be right as gauge shows 90-110 and mfa shows similar) did come on once or twice before when temp was at 118+ tho.

Its for oil pressure.

Have you checked the oil level? If its when youre going round bends, it could be that you actually havent got much oil in there...

Quite a few people have had this problem - I do!! I'm told the first and cheapest thing to check is the oil sensors, these can be faulty which causes you to sh1t yourself everytime it comes on!!

It can be for either pressure or level according to the manual. Beware the thinner oils as this can cause the light palpitations as I found out when using 0-40.

When is the light coming on?
