cymru-corrado 0 Posted November 21, 2005 I saw 155 on mine today, is this very unusual / something to worry about ?? if standard setup would say yeah potential problem. mine was up at 160 because my thermostat switch thing, fan switch and water pump were on there way out so cooling system wasnt working properly also lead to pressure problems.happily all fixed now. Trakx 0 Posted November 23, 2005 Mine's reached 116-118 at ~90 mph = 150 km/h in the highway. In Track-days it went to 128 !! So i bought an oilcooler and now 102 is the max í've seen. :D I recomend buying and oil cooler with an oil termostat and leave the stock water termostat and fan swicht. That way your car will warm up to operating temperature rapidly (which is good) and than keep there :D
carpoid 0 Posted December 28, 2005 My ambient temp guage shot up to 44 degrees on Christmas eve whilst driving up the coast here, the oil temp got up to 116 tops, 112 most of the way at 65 - 75 MPH. Coming back it was 35 tops on the ambient and the oil reached 112 but mostly 106 most of the way. Mine has a standard oil cooler at the mo, so thats not bad really considering what some others are seeing here !!

outlandish5 0 Posted December 28, 2005 Usualy sits between 90 & 108c through normal drivng. On a 600 mile motorway trip after picking up the G60 where my average speed may or may not have been sitting around the 3 figure mark the oil temp got to a max of 118c. Thats on a standard Raddo too.
