leigh 0 Posted August 10, 2003 i am in the process of fitting a larger front mounted interooler to my g60 corrado , will i need to have my car rechipped, currently running r1 charger 68mm pully & jabba chip, would sns chip be the answer?
steveo29 0 Posted August 10, 2003 i doubt youd need a rechip for the ic...although a sns would offer anti lag and safer fueling
munkay 0 Posted August 10, 2003 yeah you won't need to re-chip if you just keep what u have and use new ic. If you get an sns chip then you will need the 3.5bar fpr as well remember. I totally recommend the sns chip. Have a look on VWVortex forums, there's loads of people swear by them there as well.
W3RKD 0 Posted August 10, 2003 with the large front mount you should be able to run a wilder chip as you are getting a far better supply of cool charge now...
Dubcharged 0 Posted August 11, 2003 Larger intercoolers do allow for a more aggressive chip since the intake air will be cooler, however it isn't so much different from a chip for the smaller ic (depending on who's done the chip of course) More important than timing is fuelling on the G60....two words...........Digi-Lag. 8)
Black_G60 0 Posted August 12, 2003 Go SNS...you should be rocking a 3.5 bar FPR anyway. Your baby needs fuel!! As far as Digi-Lag... SNS has made that a thing of the past. Those boys are sick...and Sam's got some new tricks up his sleeve. Hit em up...
Dubcharged 0 Posted August 12, 2003 Couldn't have put it better myself! For those who don't know, Sam is the main SNS man in the States.
